The world has been devastated since the day the bombs fell, leaving behind a bleak existence of disease, hunger, and death.
In this desolate landscape, the remaining survivors strive to scrape together a meager existence under the watchful eyes of the cold and elegant Aristocracy, who wear masks to conceal their true faces. The population lives in constant fear of Green Lung, a deadly disease that is temporarily held at bay by a scarce supply of precious vaccine.
Amy Wellard, a young and skillful mechanic, finds herself caught in the midst of a covert war between the powerful Aristocracy and the enigmatic rebel group known as Danton. Can she navigate this treacherous world while remaining loyal to both sides, or will she be forced into making a difficult choice?
Danton insists that the Aristocracy is hiding vital information, but what could it be? Is there more at stake than meets the eye?
